Arts Administrator – flexible hours

Delighters is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic arts admin to join the team in a flexible, forward-facing role.

The arts admin’s role will be to answer entertainment enquiries (phone and email), communicate with clients and the team, update website and social media pages and other marketing tasks – to start with. At a later stage the job will include further marketing tasks, basic accounting duties, organising performances etc.
The position is not office based and the hours are flexible, and with time expected to increase.

Full training provided but demonstrable experience working in similar or relevant environment is preferable.

Essentials: IT competent, comfortable communicating with a variety of individuals in various settings, excellent organisational skills, good understanding of the events / entertainment industry.
Applicant has to be Self employed and NI registered, and is not to be working with other UK based circus/entertainment company at the meantime.

Desirable: Familiarity with circus acts, basic photo and video editing skills, experience with funding applications.

3-5 hours per week initially, expected to increase in the future. Salary: £9/hour.

Location: Edinburgh / Midlothian area but as the job is not office based this can be flexible – as long as the applicant is happy to attend the interview and a monthly meeting in person.
